Position Description:
Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of a good first degree majoring in Accounting and CPA (T) or its equivalent and must have been registered by NBAA as an Authorized Accountant.
• At least four (4) years experience serving as Accountant/Accountant Trainee in a reputable firm.
Main Duties:
• Interprets financial regulations
• Assists in coordinating Accounting services
• Conducts internal training of accounting staff in liaison with the
• University Staff Training and Development Office
• Assists in the implementation of the decisions of the University Funding
• Promotion Committee as well as Council resolutions of financial matters, annual estimates and budgeting
• Reviews accounting policies
• Advises top management on all financial matters
• Performs any other duties assigned to him/her by the Bursar.
